Course length: Whole day in person training.
Cost: £100.00 | Colleagues from core statutory partner organisations of the KBSP receive funded places.
This course is also open to colleagues from neighbouring areas (North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset.)
Aims and Objectives of course:
- Refresh knowledge on FGM
- Develop understanding of the statutory and legal frameworks.
- Develop cultural competencies with anti-oppressive, anti-discriminatory practice to ensure we are compassionate, offer open and welcome spaces while knowing our families and communities.
- Develop strategies to prevent, identify and respond to concerns around FGM working with communities to achieve these.
