Aims and Objectives of course: 

• Broaching difficult subjects with parents/carers (both early help and needing
  to make a referral to children’s social care)
• Keeping safe and feeling confident in courageous conversations with families
• Consider the responses we may receive from parents/carers and how lived experience impacts on the response.

Bio of trainer:

Rachael Courage is a trainer and consultant for Dialogue Ltd. Rachael is also an experienced Social Worker and part-time Child Protection chair in a local authority. She has experience as a Children Services manager for nearly 10 years with a masters degree in Social Work, as well as a level 5 NVQ in Management.
