SET Prevent Awareness Training for new staff - Education workforce only

This training will provide staff who are new to role in an education setting with basic Prevent Awareness. 

Training Aims: 

• To equip you with the skills and knowledge to understand your duties under the Prevent Duty and to understand how to take action.

• Develop an understanding of policies and guidance around the Prevent Duty and know how to put them into practice.

Training Objectives: 

• Enhance your understanding of your responsibilities under the current Prevent legislation and guidance.

• Identify vulnerabilities and respond to concerns.

• Know where to access further support.
